Add to this sinister stew a mysterious zombifying virus spread through TikTok dances. How is one to survive all of this “Midiculousness?” By turning to… you. Yes, you! In this Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style world premiere by Drew Anderson and Dwayne Lawson-Brown (writers of FROM GUMBO TO MUMBO and PUSH THE BUTTON), you decide the outcome of a metaphysical game show where only the winner escapes the prison of pre-teen politics. Let’s get Midiculous!

People-avoider Zia suffers from anthropophobia, the fear of people. People-watcher Doe suffers from being dead. And naturally, only Zia can see him. Brought together by chance, fate, or potentially ghostly revenge, the two set out on a journey to uncover Doe’s forgotten life while Zia faces perhaps a fate worse than death… socializing. JOHN DOE is a world premiere commissioned through Keegan’s Boiler Room Series and brought to vibrant (and haunted!) life in January 2026.

Inspired by Mary Shelley’s classic, this bold reimagining trades candlelit laboratories for storm-ravaged wastelands, where rhythm, ritual, and elemental force breathe life into a new Creature. A visually raw and immersive meditation on grief, hubris, and what it means to remake ourselves when the world has collapsed, Synetic’s Frankenstein; or, the Modern Prometheus is a myth forged in real time. Both intimate and epic, it asks not only what it means to create life, but what kind of life is worth creating.
